Before you share your app: a simple launch checklist
Check access, data, costs, email, HTTPS and recovery before inviting your first real users.

The home page loads and the link works. That is a good sign, but real users will do more than look at the page. They will sign in, save data and make mistakes. Test these paths before you share the link widely.
The steps
- Use a test account that is not an admin. Check that it cannot read another user's records or private pages.
- Try the full main task. Create, edit and reopen data. If the app sends mail or accepts payments, test those providers in their test modes first.
- Check HTTPS, mobile layout and errors. Make sure a helpful error does not expose passwords or private details.
- Review credits, backups and a recovery plan. Know how to contact support and what information to include without sharing secrets.
A common question
What should I test first?
Start with the one thing your app promises to do. Complete that task as a new user, then test what happens when an input is wrong.
