MCP lets your AI use tools from another service. With the App Cities connector, it can read your app's state and help prepare a deployment. You still own the account and make the decisions. A chat request is not a reason to hand over your passwords.
The steps
- Add the App Cities MCP address to a client that supports it. Read the sign-in and consent screen before you connect.
- Ask the AI to inspect your project and prepare Docker Compose for the stack you already use. Review what it plans to run.
- Have it show the pod size and price. Add credits through your account, and give clear approval before any paid change.
- After deployment, ask it to check the app's status and logs. Open the public URL yourself and try a real task.
A common question
Can the AI add credits for me without asking?
It must not approve spending for you. Review and authorize costs yourself through the supported account flow.
